Learning tech on your own is possible, but it can feel like wandering through Wuse Market without directions. You will get somewhere eventually, but a friendly guide gets you there faster and with far fewer wrong turns.

A good mentor helps you:

• Skip the confusion of figuring out what to learn first
• Get unstuck quickly when an error message refuses to make sense
• Build real projects you can proudly show employers
• Understand how the tech industry actually works, beyond the textbook
• Stay motivated on the days when it all feels like too much

Abuja’s tech scene is growing fast, with government agencies, startups and businesses all looking for skilled people. A mentor helps you walk into those opportunities ready and confident.

What makes Neo Cloud a mentorship hub

We are not just a training centre. We are a working tech company, and that makes all the difference. Our team builds software, secures systems and supports businesses every single day, so the people guiding you are doing the real work, not just talking about it.

Here is what you will find when you walk through our doors:

• Real-world mentors. Learn from practitioners in software development, cybersecurity, data and cloud computing.
• One-on-one attention. We offer personal sessions so your questions never get lost in a crowd.
• Practical skills that employers want. Our Neo Cloud Learning Institute covers cybersecurity, data analysis, data science, business analysis, web development, creative design with Adobe tools, and more.
• A comfortable space to learn. Air-conditioned classrooms, and a friendly team who are always happy to see you.
• A path into the industry. Many of our interns and SIWES students learn right alongside our team on live projects.

Most of all, you will find a community. At Neo Cloud, we like to say we are more than a company. We are here to help raise the next generation of tech leaders, and we would love for you to be one of them.

Who is it for? Honestly, you!

There is no “perfect” mentee. Our doors are open to:

• Complete beginners who are curious but not sure where to start
• Students and fresh graduates looking for hands-on experience before job hunting
• Career switchers ready to move from another field into tech
• Working professionals who want to level up or earn a new certification
• Teams and organisations, including MDAs, that want to build their staff’s digital skills

If you can bring curiosity and a willingness to learn, we will bring everything else.

Your journey with us

Wondering what it actually looks like? Here is the friendly road map most of our mentees follow:

1. Say hello. Call, email or drop by our office for a relaxed chat about your goals.
2. Find your path. Together we pick the track that fits you, whether that is cybersecurity, data, software or design.
3. Learn by doing. You build skills through hands-on practice, with a mentor checking in and cheering you on.
4. Build your portfolio. You work on real projects you can show off on your CV and LinkedIn.
5. Step into the industry. You leave with confidence, practical experience and a network of people rooting for you.

And the best part? Our relationship does not end on the last day of class. Once you are part of the Neo Cloud family, you are always welcome back.
